#337: 20,000 Leagues Under The Pod

May 9, 2016

337

Adam and Dr. Drew open the show today talking about some of the remaining units of measurement that exist despite seemingly no one knowing what they actually mean, such as furlong and league. The guys then turn to the phones and talk to a caller whose wife recently has been struggling with multiple miscarriages. They also speak to a caller who had his father come out as gay while he was in high school and now wants to reestablish a relationship. Superfan Sidebar >>

Wow, the déjà vu in the show description is strong here. Reminds me of this from the previous show “#336: Sudden Onset Erectile Dysfunction”: “Adam and Drew open the show by talking a bit about their Mother’s Day experience before heading straight to the phone lines to help some listeners out with their problems. After speaking to a young male listener suffering from sudden onset erectile dysfunction they help another caller who has been disagreeing with his wife over financial issues. They also help a caller who has been battling suicidal thoughts his entire life.” https://adamanddrdrew.com/ads336/

A bit more for your measuring complaints, NATO member military maps show horizontal distance in metric and vertical distance in feet. In my day anyway. Altimeters read in feet, thus that part.
