#1670 I’m Doing This Here, Now

January 19, 2023

Adam and Dr. Drew open the show discussing the way things have changed from their childhood to today. They also take a call from a listener who wants to know if they think being a child today would be better or worse than being a child in the 1970s. They also discuss the change in access to fine dining and other amenities that seemed totally unattainable when they were young. They also speak to a variety of callers including one who wants to bring back a bygone phrase and another who previously called at a darker time in his life and wanted to give an uplifting update on his life.

#1616 We Can Do Whatever We Want

September 1, 2022

Dr. Drew opens the show telling Adam about a story he saw about an impending misinformation czar that is apparently coming to California soon governing Doctors. Drew also reveals that he has been persuaded that for much of the early pandemic there was a policy of terrorizing the citizens until they could get to an effective vaccine.  They also review the tape of SoFi administrator Russ Simons, explaining the rules for in person attendance of the Super Bowl and examining how it’s aging. Adam also shows Drew some 1970s movie trailers as they marvel at what passed for mainstream entertainment in those days. They also speak to a caller looking for the return of the infamous piano tuner magnet.

Later they turn to the phones and speak to a caller with thoughts on President Biden’s pledge to nominate an African American woman to the Supreme Court. They also speak to a caller out of Seattle who recently had a mask confrontation that he wants to tell the guys about.
