#1419 Pattern Seeking Missle

May 6, 2021

Adam and Drew open up marveling at how much time has passed since the movie Cocoon was released in 1985 which leads to a conversation about how cultural changes were measured in decades past as opposed to how they will be marked in the 2020s. From there they pay off the clip of The Love Boat with Jack Gilford and how reminiscent his performance is of Adam Sandler’s today. They then turn to the phones and speak with a caller that wants to talk homelessness leading to a funny discussion about the 1973 film Soylent Green. As the show wraps up they speak with a caller about melancholy which the caller suffers from and fears he might for his entire life.
