Adam opens the show discussing a recent walk he took through his neighborhood with his dog Phil who loves to flop out on stranger’s lawns only to have the homeowner come home to find this confusing situation. Adam and Drew also try to drill down on why the areas that they live in are nice, clean and friendly neighborhoods to live in. They also discuss some of their old Loveline guests who had interesting takes on medical conditions with Drew at first incorrectly remembering the name only to have a visceral reaction when Adam found the correct name. They then turn to the phones and speak to a caller looking for advice on dealing with a borderline family member.
Adam and Dr. Drew open the show discussing the death of freedom within America and how China in their grand aspirations are trying to take over the world without firing a single shot. Drew is also reminded of Anita Bryant and they discuss the difference between stars of the past telling people what to do as opposed to present day politicians who are forcing people to do what they want by way of their political power. They also speak with a caller who has thoughts on ‘risk’ and how our society’s relationship with risk has changed, especially recently. As the show wraps up to speak with a caller who has a friend with a personality disorder and is looking for advice on how to navigate that relationship.
